Greece has got mediterranean climate, it's territory  is 132.000 km², the number of the inhabitants is 10 million.

The summer is typical dry and hot, The temperature above 40şC is not rare in August. The currency of the country is the euro (1 euro = about 320 HUF) Deviation in time is + 1 hour. Prices in Greece are higher than in Hungary with about 50% . Unfortunately shower with sweet water can not be found on every beach against it used to be in Europe, and the cleaning of the beaches is not like in the Western-European beaches.

The boot-shaped country is a real paradise for tourists with its 3000-year-old history, culture and world-famous kitchen. Among the most beloved monuments, we find the Roman Coliseum, the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, the Doge’s Palace in Venice and La Scala in Milan. It is a beloved country for the hungarians because it’s not far from Hungary.

Its kitchen is world-famous. Its most famous meals among the foreigners are the Spaghetti alla Bolognese, lasagne, tortellini and pizza. They love tomatoes, vegetables and the sea-fruits. Besides the wonderful meals, we must try a bottle of a real italian wine.

The climate is very uneven. The north has a cold winter and a hot summer. The wind called Sirokko blows hot air from Africa to the southern parts, lengthening the hot summer.
